Inspired by the sculptural beauty of the Alocasia, this handcrafted wooden wall piece brings together natural timber, earthy tones, and clean, minimalist design.
The solid timber frame and slatted backer are handcrafted, stained in a rich Dark Oak finish, then protected with a blend of natural oil and wax to enhance the wood’s character while creating a soft, satin sheen.
The layered Alocasia is cut from MDF, individually hand-painted in a deep botanical green, and sealed for a durable, lasting finish. The exposed timber veins add warmth and contrast, celebrating the natural materials used throughout the piece.

Wild horizons is a 60cm solid wood round, hand stained mountain landscape, with layers of warm golden mountains fading into a deep forest.
I wanted this one to feel like that moment when you’re surrounded by mountains and trees, everything is quiet, and for a little while there’s nowhere else you need to be.
Warm, grounding and a little bit wild - a piece made to bring that feeling home.
Finished with danish oil and finishing wax to enhance the natural timber and protect the artwork.

Kia Ora, I’m jess, A kiwi Artist, maker, and mum of two, creating nature-inspired creations here in Aotearoa.
I work across a mix of creative mediums, from wooden wall art and layered designs to furniture art, and my range of adhesive masks - designed to help you bring my nature inspired designs into your own creative projects.
My inspiration comes from the natural world around me, native landscapes, mountains, trees, birds, calming textures and anything that feels earthy and grounding.
love creating designs that can be enjoyed n different ways, whether its a handmade piece of art for your home or an adhesive mask that lets you get creative and put my style onto your own furniture or timber projects.
Everything I create is made with a love for natural materials, simple forms and that uniquely Aotearoa feel.

Kawakawa Care.
The holes and lines are subtle, letting the natural wood grain speak. NZ kawakawa, a plant that aided in my health journey. This is a reminder of my journey, how far I’ve traveled, and my respect and aroha for Māori medicine.

Misty Mountains
Inspired by New Zealand’s rugged landscapes, This duo blends art and history into one surface. I worked with layered stain to form the soft mist and distant ranges, keeping the original grain visible so the dressers past could breathe beneath the artwork.
